Government subsidy schemes have been put in place across the country to provide broadband-starved residents and businesses with help by making a very substantial contribution towards any up-front equipment, installation and account activation costs involved in getting a faster broadband connection.
If you're eligible for and receive a subsidy, by choosing us as your supplier, your entire equipment, installation and account set-up costs will be fully covered, leaving you to pay no up-front costs at all!
And once you've got your subsidy, there's no need to wait. We could have you up and running on much faster 4G broadband almost immediately!
There are three subsidy schemes in place covering England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. We at 4G Internet are proud to have been appointed as approved suppliers under all three schemes.
- The BDUK Better Broadband covers the entire UK with the exception of Wales and Devon & Somerset.
- The Welsh Government's Access Broadband Cymru Scheme covers the whole of Wales.
- The Connecting Devon & Somerset Better Broadband Scheme covers the Devon & Somerset region.
If you are eligible for subsidy under whichever of the three schemes applies to your property's location, the funding provided will fully cover the entire costs of getting set up with our 4G broadband service - that includes all equipment, professional installation and setting up of your 4G broadband account. So with a subsidy, getting yout home or business up and running on fast 4G broadband will be completely free of charge!

Yes, with us there is. We at 4G Internet undertake to demonstrate an absolute minimum download speed of at least 10 Mbps (though we would confidently expect to achieve far greater speeds in almost every case) immediately following installation of your equipment under any Government Better Broadband Subsidy Scheme currently in place - and we will show you that we have achieved at least this.
And if we don't? We'll remove all equipment, walk away with absolutely no ongoing obligation to yourself and you may then freely re-utilise your subsidy with any other approved supplier.
We call this our no strings attached Performance Promise and you can read more about it by clicking here.
Of course, the vast majority of our 4G broadband installations far exceed that minimum 10 Mbps level. The average speeds that we deliver across the UK have been independently audited and verified as being in excess of 20 Mbps, as you can see if you click here - and we of course have numerous customers who enjoy much faster speeds than that. Government subsidies are available to any home or business across the entire UK that cannot currently access a broadband service above 2 Mbps. You can perform an initial check for yourself as to what broadband speeds are available from traditional suppliers at your location by visiting the UK government's Superfast Broadband Availability Checker here.
As stated above, there are three different subsidy schemes in place. Which one applies to you depends on where you live.
The initial qualification of your application is handled by the regional or local authority that is tasked with overseeing broadband connectivity in your area.
The simplest way to find out how and where to apply is via the BDUK Better Broadband Scheme Location Checker. Just enter your postcode there and you'll be given information on which regional or local body is administering the scheme that covers your specific property and a link to where you can apply.
